Welcome to the annual 2CANA programming competition website. Every year we hold a competition for university programmers to battle it out amongst themselves for a first prize of R1500 (and a chance to impress 2CANA for future work prospects).
The competition consists of one challenging problem (usually dealing with an optimisation of some sort) that the contestants are given a few hours to solve. The competition requires that you have an internet connection, as you will continually submit updated versions of your code to us, and we will be providing hints and feedback on how well you are doing.
What are the rules for this competition you ask, well :
1. Only students from UKZN(Dbn and PMB) can enter.
2. You must register on this website in order to compete.
3. You can work in teams of up to 4 people.
4. Programs may only be written in Java.
Date of Programming competition – Thursday, 16th September 2010
